This used/secondhand continuous blancher utilises stainless steel vertical pushers to convey fruit through the blanching bath. It has an infeed chute 620mm wide which angles to the base of the blancher. It has a section with 5mm mesh to remove any foreign matter. The blancher runs on link chain and has perforated pushers 490mm wide x 215mm high with the spacing (pitch) between pushers being 640mm. The blancher then elevates and raises the fruit at the end to discharge. Has controls and gauges for conveyor speed, safety reset, conveyor on/off, circulation pump on/off, enable steam and thermostat control.
