This used / secondhand evaporative cooler and heater consists of a GEC axial fan Ref 5781, D132M, 3ph, 4.2kW, 960rpm, 1 to 2kg / cubic metre, 38inch, 970mm diameter (10 blades 140mm wide x 320mm long).

The fan draws air through a vented aluminium walled box 1800mm x 1800mm x 2000mm high.

On the inside of each side of this box are 3 panels 375mm wide wetted by water sprays.

The air is cooled and ducted to the outlet 910mm x 1050mm.

There is a heat exchanger 1350mm x 1150mm consisting of steam tubes with heat transfer fins mounted on the outlet side of the fan.

This can be used to heat the air passing through.

The overall dimensions of the unit are 4750mm long x 2000mm wide x 2650mm high, which includes the galvanised steel mounting frame.
